Waive Notice

 

Prior to beginning the Special Council meeting this date, it was noted Council was being requested to Waive Notice to amend the start time of the meeting this date to accommodate the addition of an urgent agenda matter.

To approve the amended start time, 2/3 of the Whole of Council is required.

    “That pursuant to Section 25.4.4 (g) of Chapter 25 (Council Procedure) of the Municipal Code, Council waive notice to amend the start time of the special meeting of Council from 5:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.”

Commencement

 

A meeting of City Council was held at 5:02 p.m. this date, chaired by Acting Mayor A. Owodunni. Notice of this meeting had been previously given to all members of Council by the City Clerk pursuant to Chapter 25 (Council Procedure) of the Municipal Code.

The meeting began with a Land Acknowledgement given by the Mayor.

Waive Notice

 

It was requested to waive notice to add an additional urgent matter related to City Arts Program (Land Disposition and Solicitor-Client Privilege- Section 239 (c) and (f) of the Municipal Act, 2001, to the in-camera meeting later this date.

To approve the additional urgent matter on the agenda, 2/3 of members present is required.

    "That pursuant to Section 25.4.4 (f) of Chapter 25 (Council Procedure) of the Municipal Code requirement for Notice of Motion be waived to add an additional item to the in-camera meeting this date related to City Arts Program (Land Disposition and Solicitor-Client Privilege- Section 239 (c) and (f) of the Municipal Act, 2001."
