Compass Kitchener members discussed how they thought the November 6th All-Advisory Committee Chairs and Vice Chairs meeting went. Overall, the consensus was that the meeting went smoothly and there was good information shared about the 2051 Official Plan.

Members of Compass Kitchener discussed and finalized decisions on the evaluation approach, rating and process. S. Sweazey indicated she will present the evaluation framework to CLT for their feedback at a meeting in December. In January, this feedback will come back to Compass Kitchener for the new Compass Kitchener Advisory Committee to refine the criteria and provide their input.

Previous minutes (October 2, 2024) were reviewed.

Other Business:

J. Stephens-Wells explained there will be no December meeting for Compass Kitchener as there won’t be enough time to complete the recruitment process before the first Wednesday of the month; the new term will begin in January 2025. Compass Kitchener members reviewed meeting dates in 2025 and decided to meet as a group the second week of March (March 12) instead of the first as Compass Kitchener members will need time to review the briefing templates from staff on strategic plan projects.

The meeting adjourned at 5:35 pm.
