The City of Kitchener has aligned with provincial changes to COVID-19 restrictions and City Hall is now open for in-person services, however appointments are still encouraged. Council and Committees of Council are now being offered in a hybrid format and welcome delegate participation either in-person or electronically. Those people interested in participating in this meeting can register online using the delegation registration form at www.kitchener.ca/delegation or via email at delegation@kitchener.ca. For in-person delegations, registration can be facilitated up until the start of the meeting. For those who are interested in participating electronically, registration will be required 2 hours prior to the scheduled start of the meeting. The meeting live-stream and archived videos are available at www.kitchener.ca/watchnow

The following matters are considered not to require debate and should be approved by one motion in accordance with the recommendation contained in each staff report. A majority vote is required to discuss any report listed  as under this section. 

Pursuant to Council’s Procedural By-law, delegations are permitted to address the Committee for a maximum of five (5) minutes. Delegates who are attending in-person are permitted to register up to the start of the meeting. Those who are interested in attending virtually for Part One (3:00 p.m. start) of this meeting must register by 1:00 p.m. on September 12, 2022, in order to participate electronically.

This is a formal public meeting to consider applications under the Planning Act.  If a person or public body does not make oral or written submissions to the City of Kitchener before the proposed applications are considered, the person or public body may not be entitled to appeal the decision to the Ontario Land Tribunal and may not be added as a party to a hearing of an appeal before the Ontario Land Tribunal.
