Compass Kitchener Members were provided copies of “Overall Observations and Looking Ahead” (pages 14 – 17 from the 2023 Report Card) to review and consider whether they wish to reiterate any of the same points or suggests new ones.

Members of Compass Kitchener provided lots of feedback as they reviewed and discussed the document together. J. Stephens-Wells offered to put together a rough draft of the report card, with the information shared and circulate in advance of the next meeting. J. Stephens-Wells asked the members to send her any additional thoughts in the coming weeks to be added to the report. The goal is for members to read, make changes and complete the final draft by the next Compass meeting.

Sweazey to set up a meeting date in May to present the draft citizen report to CLT.

Compass Kitchener Members discussed the agenda for the upcoming All-Advisory Committees meeting on May 8th.

As a group, it was decided that a large portion of the agenda would be time allotted for each Advisory Committee Chair/ Vice Chair to speak to the other Committees about what their committee does, what their committee’s priorities are, and what they are interested in (5 minutes each, maximum). The rest of the agenda time would be for dinner, and time for networking/mingling.

Sweazey to put together the interests gathered from the Committees to be shared with all the Advisory Committees.
